Hi, my name is Jennifer! I've been collecting trading cards for over 25 years - Both Sports and Non-Sports cards. I collect NASCAR drivers Geoff Bodine, Harry Gant, Kevin Harvick and Mark Martin. Also, Pro Golfer Mark O'Meara. I have several Entertainment (Movies, TV, etc.), cards and sets. I have over 8600 cards (including Auto, Game Used, Race Used, and Costume.)
I've had the great fortune of meeting Geoff Bodine (twice), Brett Bodine, Harry Gant, Joey Logano, Richard Petty, and Ricky Rudd. I've been to a few races, all at Rockingham. There's nothing like watching a race from the grandstands! I will always remember the overwhelming smell of the exhaust and burning rubber, and the loud engines as the cars blew past!
I was able to follow Mark O'Meara, Olin Browne, and Bob Tway during the final round of the SAS Championship in 2009. I had never been to a tournament before. And, to be able to watch my favorite player compete was a dream come true! Walking all 18 holes on a very hot day was trying, but, I made it!
In 2012, I was fortunate enough to get Mark O'Meara's autograph after following him, Mark Wiebe, and John Huston during the final round of the SAS Championship! It was cold and dreary all day, but, it was worth it to finally meet my favorite player!! By the way, they all finished in the Top 10 :0)
In 2014, I followed the group of Mark O'Meara, David Frost, and Kenny Perry for the last half of their round on the final day of play at the SAS Championship in Cary, NC! It was cold, wet, and pretty miserable weather wise, but, I'm glad to have gone! And, I was able to get autos from all three players! Mark didn't have a very good round, but, Kenny birdied the last four holes to finish T3!
In 2019, my Dad and I followed the group of Mark O'Meara, Joe Durant, and Tom Pernice Jr. on the second half of their first round of the SAS Championship in Cary, NC. It was a beautiful day! And, I finally got a photo with the man himself, Mark O'Meara! What a dream come true!!!
